Blogging Heros: Interviews with 30 of the World’s Top Bloggers
November 17, 2008I’m about to finish reading a great book by Michael A. Banks. 30 interviews in 30 short chapters. It truely has been an eye opener and an inspiration to me as a ‘wannabe top blogger’.
These people tell their story and give you tips and tricks. Next to their names you’ll find the links to their blogs. The book was publiced in 2007 so I don’t no if these folks still blog on these sites, yet. In order of appearance in Michael A. Banks book “Blogging Heros: Interviews with 30 of the World’s Top Bloggers.”

After i’m done writing, I’ll use the phone’s browser to copy and paste the text on this WordPress account. Hope this works, cause I would be able to post more often.

My online activity
November 8, 2008Because I’m doing so much on the internet these days, it’s hard for you folks to keep updated on what I’m working on.
I realise that I’m working on too many things at ones. However, that’s just me! I love to be involved in as many things as possible. My interests are widely spread, I like:
- sports: squash, tennis, badminton, football, rugby, cycling and golf
- surfing the internet
- going outside: hiking, cycling, playing squash, having a pint, coffee or some good food
- photography
- reading: novells, study books etc.
- spending time with friends and family
It’s a pitty that a day has only 24 hours, a week seven days and that on average there are only 52 weeks in a year. I’m 27 and I wish to live a long and happy life. I love to learn, share knowledge and earn some money to do all the things I like.
That’s why I love the internet some much, you can spend time talking to friends and family by email, chat or phone, learn about your favourite sports, share information with others and find inspiration on the web by a mouse click. All you need to have is a computer and an internet connection.
Setting up websites forces me to read about a subject, select information and hopefully someone wishes to share information or asks me a question about a subject.
This week I was asked a question through one of my sites about Zutphen. I wasn’t able to answer that question straight away, however I knew of a few sites where I could find that information. I had a look and sent an email to the webmaster of that site. Within an hour I was able to answer that question afterall. Stuff like that gives me great pleasure.
The above was an introduction to what is to follow next, a summary of my online activity. This will only focus on content I wrote our stuff I’ve been working and isn’t a business secret..
I’ve been updating almost all my sites this week, so I’ve been very productive.
welkominzutphen.nl – I’ve changed a few ad position to create a higher revenue. I’ve added event information.
welkominzutphen.com – I’ve posted some video content and several posts.
vueltazutphen.nl – I wrote a column about my desire to see a week full of parties and events when La Vuelta a España comes to Zutphen late August 2009.
vueltanederland.nl – I added an article.
vueltainnederland.nl – I’ve added an image of La Vuelta ‘79 to this blog.
zutphenhotels.nl – created a site about hotels in Zutphen.
racketsport.blogspot.com – created a new blog about racketsport.
All of these blogs and sites are written in Dutch… sorry folks..
A site called www.vertalen.nu is at your disposal to learn the Dutch language. Our use http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ to
